Six on the first ball of IPL career
Rob Queenie- Australia’s Rob Queenie hit a six on the very first ball of his IPL career in 2009. He did this while playing for Rajasthan Royals.
Kevon Cooper- Kevon Cooper, who played for West Indies, also hit a six on the first ball of his IPL career while playing for Rajasthan Royals. He hit a six on the ball of James Faulkner.
Andre Russell- Andre Russell, while playing for Delhi Daredevils in 2012, hit a six on the first ball of his career in a match against RCB.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi- Vaibhav Suryavanshi started his IPL career by hitting a six to senior bowler Shardul Thakur in IPL 2025. He is the youngest player in IPL history to do so.
Carlos Brathwaite- Another West Indies batsman in the list, Carlos Brathwaite, had hit a six on his first ball in 2016 while playing for Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Capitals).
Aniket Chaudhary- Aniket Chaudhary’s IPL career did not last long. While playing for RCB in the 2017 season, he sent the first ball of his career across the boundary.
Javon Searles- Javon Searles played only 4 matches in his IPL career. He hit a six on the very first ball against Punjab Kings in 2018.
Mahish Teekshana- The Sri Lankan spinner made his debut against RCB in 2022 and facing Harshal Patel, hit a six on the first ball of his career.
Siddhesh Lad- Siddhesh Lad, who played for Mumbai Indians, played only one match in his IPL career. In 2019, he hit a six on the first ball against Punjab Kings.
Sameer Rizvi- Sameer Rizvi made his IPL debut for Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2024 and hit Rashid Khan for a six on the very first ball.
