On the occasion of completion of 100 years of the establishment of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), a special dialogue program with Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat will be organized in Mumbai on Saturday-Sunday (February 7-8, 2026). Sangh’s All India Publicity Head Sunil Ambekar gave detailed information regarding this program in a press conference.
Sunil Ambekar said that this dialogue program is for all sections of the society and clarity will be maintained about the country, Hindutva and the functioning of the Sangh. The dialogue will start at 3 pm on Saturday (February 7, 2026). Earlier, such programs have been organized in metropolitan cities like Delhi, Bengaluru and Kolkata, in the same sequence, an event is now being organized in Mumbai.
More than 1200 people were invited for the program
He said that Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat will discuss in detail the 100 years of Sangh’s journey and its objectives. People associated with art, literature, sports, business, social service, politics, corporate world and cinema industry have been invited to this program. More than 1,200 people have been contacted so far, of which 700 to 800 are likely to attend the event. Well-known people like Boney Kapoor, Asha Bhosle and player Chirag Shetty will also be present in this dialogue.
According to the information, people from every field have been invited to the dialogue program of Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat. For this, invitation has been given to big personalities of Mumbai including Ambani family, Kumar Mangalam Birla family, three Khans of Bollywood, Kapoor family, Sachin Tendulkar, in which most of the people have agreed to attend.
The aim of the Sangh is to establish continuous dialogue with the society – Ambekar
Sunil Ambekar said that during the dialogue, topics like social harmony, making environment a part of life, importance of family and relationships, civic duty and role of society will be discussed. The objective of the Sangh is to reach its work to as many people as possible during the centenary year and to establish constant dialogue with the society. Besides, in the coming time, there will be dialogue regarding the plans of the Sangh and the use of its power. A written question-answer session has also been organized in the programme.
India’s color has been saffron for thousands of years- Ambekar
In the press conference, on the question of AIMIM leader regarding coloring Mumbra green, Sunil Ambekar said that the color of India has been saffron for thousands of years and this is the role of the Sangh. At the same time, when Owaisi said that RSS had no role in the country’s independence, he responded by saying that on the completion of 100 years of Sangh, there is no need to clarify what RSS has done for the country, Owaisi himself should answer this question.
RSS publicity chief speaks on UGC issue
On the issue related to UGC, All India Publicity Chief of RSS Sunil Ambekar said that the matter is in the court and stay has been given on it, hence there will be a debate on it. At the same time, when asked about AIMIM winning councilorship in Nagpur, Ambekar said that there is a democratic process in the country and any party can contest elections. Nagpur or any other place is not a stronghold of the Sangh, the Sangh works to build the society by living in the society, the concept like a fort or a fort is not for the Sangh.
