6 month old girl was crying continuously due to hunger, mother took her life in anger, stopped breathing by pressing her nose and mouth

Andhra Pradesh News: A heinous crime took place on Thursday morning in NR Agraharam of Satyavedu Mandal in Tirupati district of Andhra Pradesh, in which a six-month-old innocent girl was killed by her mother. The girl was crying loudly due to hunger, but her mother Hemavati angrily closed her nose and mouth and stopped her from breathing. The incident shocked the local people.

Venkatesh and Hemavati couple from Tamil Nadu came to NR Agraharam of Satyavedu Mandal for livelihood a few months ago and started living in a rented house. They had a five-year-old son and six-month-old daughter Joshika. Venkatesh worked as a laborer in a nearby brick factory, while Hemavati took care of the children at home.

The girl’s mother took her own life in anger

On Thursday (26 March) at around 6:30 in the morning, Venkatesh saw that the girl was crying loudly due to hunger. He woke up his sleeping wife and asked her to feed milk to the baby. After this he left for work as usual. However, shortly after leaving the house, Hemavati called Venkatesh and said something shocking. He said, “The child was crying, so I got angry and I hit her. This is good news for me, bad news for you,” and hung up the phone.

The husband informed the police about the incident

Venkatesh, not believing his wife’s words, reached home and saw that his daughter was lying dead. He cried after seeing the girl. After this he immediately informed the police. Satyavedu police reached the spot and took Hemavati into custody. The clue team from Tirupati collected evidence from the spot.

Police officials said that this is an extremely cruel and shocking incident. The innocent girl had tried to express her hunger, but her mother showed so much cruelty. The police have registered a case in this matter and started investigation and have assured to punish the accused under strict law.
