A heart-wrenching incident has come to light from Bengaluru, the capital of Karnataka. A six-year-old innocent girl has been murdered near White Field, a posh area of the city. Bengaluru Police said that the girl’s body was wrapped in a plastic bag and thrown into the drain.
In the preliminary investigation, the police suspect that the murder could be the result of a personal dispute between the girl’s parents and a neighbor. It is being told that both the victim’s family and the suspected neighbor are residents of West Bengal and were making a living working as migrant laborers in the White Field area.
A case of kidnapping of the girl was registered in the police station
Let us tell you that on Monday (January 5, 2025) afternoon, a case of kidnapping of the girl was registered at White Field Police Station. After the FIR was registered, the police started an intensive search operation. During this search operation, the girl’s body was recovered from a drain on Temple Road, Nallurhalli at around midnight.
Plastic rope found around the girl’s neck – DCP
White Field Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Saidulu Adawatha said that the girl’s body has been sent to the hospital for post-mortem. He further said that a plastic rope was found around the girl’s neck. Initially no other injury marks were found.
Special teams formed to search for the suspect
DCP Saidulu Adavath said that it appears that the murder was committed by strangulation. The police have identified the accused and he will be arrested soon. He said that the police have formed special teams to search for the suspect and a thorough investigation of the case is going on.
