So many crores were collected to build Babri Masjid in Bengal, Humayun Kabir said – ‘The height will be 65 feet’

Suspended TMC MLA Humayun Kabir has claimed that donations worth more than Rs 5 crore have been collected so far for the construction of Babri Masjid. He said that the proposed mosque will be taller and wider than before. He also clarified that the issue of SIR will not have any impact in Murshidabad. Kabir also announced that he will announce his new political party on 22 December.

The mosque will be taller and wider than before
Humayun Kabir told ANI that the model on which the mosque is being built will be more grand than before. He told, ‘The mosque will be built at a higher height than where the model was earlier. It will be about 65 feet high and will also be wider than before.

Donation more than 5 crores
Kabir informed that till now an amount of more than Rs 5 crore has been collected for the construction of the mosque. Apart from this, the material brought for construction is also worth around Rs 1.5 to Rs 2 crore. He told that the foundation of the mosque has been laid in Murshidabad on 6th December.

Announcement of new party on 22 December
The suspended MLA said that his new party will be announced on December 22 between 12 noon and 1 pm. It is noteworthy that after the announcement of laying the foundation of the mosque, TMC had suspended Humayun Kabir from the party. There were reports that Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee was angry with this move, although no official statement was given by the party on this.

Possibility of alliance with AIMIM
Meanwhile, the West Bengal unit of All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) led by Asaduddin Owaisi has expressed its desire for an alliance with Humayun Kabir. AIMIM state president Imran Solanki said that talks are going on with Kabir and both the parties are exploring the possibility of coordination on some seats in the upcoming assembly elections.

Owaisi will take the final decision
Imran Solanki said that due to the strong hold of Asaduddin Owaisi at the national level, Humayun Kabir is interested in alliance with AIMIM. He clarified that the final decision on the alliance will be taken by Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi.
