Indian cricket team’s experienced leg spinner Yuzvendra Chahal is out of the field these days. The reason for this is his poor health. Chahal is suffering from serious diseases like dengue and chikungunya, due to which he may have to stay away from cricket for a long time. Chahal himself gave this information through social media and told that these diseases have affected his body a lot.
Chahal’s condition worsened due to illness
Yuzvendra Chahal was last seen playing for Haryana in the group match of Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy in November. Since then he has been continuously walking out of the team. Now it has become clear that his condition had deteriorated due to dengue and chikungunya and he has been advised to take complete rest. For this reason, he could not be a part of his team even in the final match of Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.

Before the final match, Yuzvendra Chahal gave an update on his health through Instagram story. He wrote that he wanted to enter the field with the Haryana team, but due to illness it could not happen. Chahal also wished his team all the best for the final and expressed hope of recovering soon and returning.
However, he did not clarify when he would be fully fit and return to the cricket field. It is believed that now his eyes will be on Vijay Hazare Trophy, which is starting from December 24. However, his return will depend entirely on fitness.
Out of Team India for a long time
Yuzvendra Chahal has been out of the Indian senior team for some time. He has not played any international match for India since August 2023. After the T20 World Cup, he did not get a chance in the team, although his performance in domestic and foreign cricket has been consistently good.
Strength was shown in England
Before illness, Chahal was seen playing county cricket in England. He participated in the One Day Cup and County Championship for Northamptonshire. In limited overs cricket, he bowled economically, while in red ball cricket he proved his usefulness by taking 12 wickets in three matches.
