How to delete ChatGPT account from Android and iOS phones?

Scrolling down in the settings, you will find the option of “Data Controls”. From here select “Delete OpenAI Account” and follow the instructions on the screen. After some confirmation steps, the process of deleting your account will start.
How to delete ChatGPT account from laptop or PC
If you use a laptop or computer, then open the ChatGPT website in any web browser and log in to your account. You will see your profile icon at the bottom left of the screen. After clicking on it, select “Settings” option.
Now go to the “Account” section in the Settings window and scroll down. Here the option of “Delete Account” will be available. Click on it to complete the on-screen instructions and confirm account deletion.
Know these things before deleting your account
Once a ChatGPT account is deleted, it cannot be recovered. Therefore, be completely sure before proceeding further. If you have taken a paid subscription of ChatGPT from Google Play Store or any other platform, then it will have to be canceled separately, because the subscription does not automatically stop by merely deleting the account.
After deleting your account, you will not be able to sign up again with the same email or phone number. Your data in all apps related to OpenAI will be completely deleted. However, after clicking “Delete” it may take up to 30 days for all data to be completely removed from the server.
