Samsung is going to launch its Galaxy S26 lineup next month and the company will make a big splash in it. According to reports, the company can provide AI-powered privacy display in every model of this lineup. Earlier this feature was said to be available only in Ultra models, but now this display will be provided in Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26 Plus models. This feature will give privacy to the user in a public place and he will not have to worry that someone sitting next to him is watching his screen.
What is privacy display?
Privacy tempered glasses are available in the market nowadays. By installing these, other than the user, people sitting nearby are not able to see the content playing on the screen, but their use reduces the quality of the display and also affects the brightness. To overcome these problems, Samsung is introducing new privacy displays. There will be no need to install any kind of tempered glass on these. When this feature is turned on in the models of Galaxy S26 lineup, other than the user, the person sitting around him will not be able to see the content playing on the screen. He will see the screen completely dark.
How will privacy display work?
Samsung will use Flex Magic Pixel OLED panel for privacy display. In this, with the help of AI, the light direction will be controlled at the pixel level, due to which the viewing angle will become narrow and the quality of the display will not be affected. There are also speculations that Samsung is also working on making it context aware. That means, when you open any banking app or password manager in your phone, the phone will automatically go into privacy mode. Then when you want to watch a video, it will widen the viewing angle, so that your friends will also be able to watch the video.
