‘8 terrorist training camps active, if any action happens…’ Pakistan will tremble at the warning of Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi

Indian Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi has warned in clear words that 8 terrorist training camps are still active across the border and the Indian Army is constantly keeping an eye on them. He said that if any provocative action takes place from these camps, India will not shy away from giving a strong response again.

Army’s eye on 8 terrorist training camps
The Army Chief said that a total of 8 terrorist training camps are still active. Of these, 2 are present on the international border and 6 near the Line of Control (LOC). He said that the army is continuously monitoring the situation based on the inputs of intelligence agencies. He further said that there will be 100-150 terrorists in these camps.

If action is taken then action is decided again
General Dwivedi bluntly said that if any kind of action takes place from these terrorist bases, the Indian Army will take action again. Operation Sindoor is still going on and the army is on full alert.

Forward deployment reduced after Operation Sindoor
He told that after Operation Sindoor, it was decided in the DGMO level meeting that the armies of both the countries will reduce their forward deployment. The military movement that took place from both sides during the time of tension has now been taken back to the designated places.

Nuclear issue not in DGMO talks
The Army Chief clarified that there was no discussion on nuclear weapons in the DGMO talks. He said that the statements that came out regarding nuclear were from politicians or public forums, no such message was given by the army.

Action with new strategy for the first time
General Dwivedi said that for the first time India conducted an operation against Pakistan using the capability between nuclear and conventional war. From this it became clear that India is capable of responding at every level.

Major achievement of Operation Sindoor
According to the Army Chief, 7 out of 9 targets were completely destroyed in Operation Sindoor. This campaign started on 7 May and continued till 10 May. The situation in Jammu and Kashmir is under control since May 10.
