After the death of Sharif Usman Hadi, one of the main leaders of the rebellion in Bangladesh in July last year, incidents of violence have increased in many districts including Dhaka. As soon as Mohammad Yunus confirmed the death of Inquilab Manch leader Hadi, attacks, sabotage and arson intensified in different parts of the country. Inquilab Manch posted on social media that Bangladesh youth leader Sharif Usman Hadi will be buried next to the country’s national poet Kazi Nazrul Islam on Saturday (20 December 2025) on the request of his family.
Osman Hadi’s body brought to Dhaka
Usman Hadi’s body has been brought to Dhaka. Bangladesh’s Chief Advisor Mohammad Yunus posted on X and wrote, ‘On December 20, his funeral prayers will be offered in the Parliament House. His funeral prayers will be held at 2:30 pm on Saturday in the South Plaza of Parliament House. There is a special appeal to those who want to attend his funeral prayers that they should not carry any bag or heavy items. During this period, flying drones in Parliament House and surrounding areas is completely prohibited.
According to the report of The Daily Star, Biman Bangladesh spokesperson Boshara Islam said that a flight carrying the body of Usman Hadi landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at around 5:48 pm. Flight BG 585 took off from Singapore’s Changi International Airport at 4:03 pm Singapore time.
Attack of miscreants on Bengali culture
The fundamentalists pretending to sympathize with Usman are accusing Sheikh Hasina of orchestrating the murder. On this pretext, once again an atmosphere is being created against India and Bengali culture. As a result of this, the mob attacked the Bengali Cultural Centre. Usman Hadi was known for his anti-India rhetoric and opposition to the Awami League. It was Hadi who released the map of Greater Bangladesh and declared the Seven Sisters State as a part of Bangladesh.
ISI and Yunus are behind the death of Usman Hadi?
At the same time, Yunus government of Bangladesh is leaving no stone unturned to get political mileage from Hadi’s murder. Condolences on the assassination of Mohammad Yunus Hadi. But the truth is also that on the same day Hadi was shot, his supporters had given an ultimatum. Hadi’s supporters are not only angry over his murder but are also angry against the Yunus government. Which has not yet been able to catch Hadi’s killers.
There is also a theory going on that blaming India for the murder of Usman Hadi is a well-planned conspiracy by the Yunus government and Bangladeshi fundamentalist groups. Pakistani intelligence agency ISI is also suspected to be involved in Hadi’s political murder. The needle of suspicion of Hadi’s murder in Bangladesh is also turning towards the Yunus government because there are many things which raise questions on the Yunus government in Hadi’s murder.
3 theories of chaos in Bangladesh
Firstly, Usman Hadi had become a political challenge for Mohammad Yunus. The second reason is that Hadi had criticized the Yunus government several times in public forums. The third reason is that Usman Hadi himself was an anti-India fundamentalist leader and was also very popular among the Bangladeshi youth. The theory behind the murder of Osman Hadi is spreading very fast that the Yunus government was afraid of rebellion from Osman Hadi because Osman Hadi and the people of his organization were not given any place in the interim government. On the contrary, Osman Hadi’s organization Inquilab Manch was banned and when Osman Hadi announced to contest the elections as an independent, he was murdered.
This time all the fundamentalists have joined hands to form Sharia government in Bangladesh. Watch this video connecting it with the murder of Osman Hadi. On one hand, Bangladesh is burning after the assassination of Osman Hadi and on the other hand, a crowd of fundamentalists in Dhaka is raising slogans against India. Is giving the call of Islamic Sharia law. Non-Muslims are being threatened and Yunus government is laying red carpet for such radicals. India and Sheikh Hasina are being blamed for the murder of Osman Hadi, but why would India or Sheikh Hasina get Osman Hadi politically murdered?
Awami League completely banned from contesting elections
Yunus government had banned all the activities of Awami League on 10 May 2025. On May 12, 2025, Bangladesh Election Commission had suspended the party registration of Awami League. That means Awami League became completely ineligible from contesting the elections to be held in February. This means that Sheikh Hasina’s Awami League is completely banned from contesting elections in Bangladesh. So there is no question of Awami League getting political benefit from the death of Usman Hadi. Again this would be a speculation. If it is considered that the existence of Sheikh Hasina, the existence of her party and the existence of her people have almost ended in Bangladesh in the last one and a quarter years, then it will be difficult to say how her people will be able to even kill someone.
