Importance of the meeting held at RSS headquarters
RSS is seen as an ideological pillar in Indian politics and society. Despite the Sangh not being a direct political party, its ideological influence can be seen on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). In such a situation, the arrival of CCP representatives to the union headquarters is being considered an important sign in itself. Sangh sources say that this meeting took place on the wish of CCP leaders and its purpose was only to maintain courtesy, but in diplomacy, courtesy also gives a message. This shows that China is trying to understand India not only through government or diplomatic channels, but also at the ideological and social levels.
