Pakistan is keeping an eye on the activities of Indian Army

In the annual press conference of the Indian Army, General Dwivedi said that in recent times, small drones coming from Pakistan have been seen, which fly with light and do not go very high. These drones appear to be ‘defensive’, the purpose of which was to see how prepared the Indian Army is or whether there is any weakness or gap from where terrorists can be sent.

He said, ‘I think Pakistan might have got a negative response. They must have seen that today there is no place or gap from where they can send terrorists.

Pakistan’s infiltration will not be tolerated

General Dwivedi said that the situation in Jammu and Kashmir is sensitive, but completely under control. The Indian Army clearly told Pakistan that such drone intrusion will not be tolerated. This issue was raised in the DGMO meeting and Pakistan was asked to control it. This warning comes after recent drone activities, which may increase tension on the border. The Indian Army is fully alert and ready to stop any infiltration.

When and where did the incidents of drone sighting occur?

  • These drones were seen over a thermal power plant in Jaisalmer district of Rajasthan on 12 January 2026 at 10 pm. Kept circling in the sky for about an hour. The police is investigating, because flying drones without permission is completely prohibited.
  • Late night on 11 January 2026, he was seen in Nowshera-Rajouri sector near the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir. The Indian Army used counter-drone systems and sent them back. After this, security was increased in Sambha district.

Apart from this, about 6 drones were also seen on January 10.
