‘If this happens, it will be worse…’, why did Trump warn ISIS after the airstrike in Syria?

US President Donald Trump has given a strict warning to terrorists after the airstrike on ISIS targets in Syria. America took major action against ISIS under ‘Operation Hawkeye Strike’. This step was taken after the attack in which two American soldiers were killed in the Syrian desert. Trump clearly said that if America is attacked or threatened, the response will be tougher than ever.

Action after the death of American soldiers
Donald Trump said that ISIS has ‘brutally murdered’ American soldiers in Syria. He told that the mortal remains of recently killed soldiers were brought to America with respect. Trump said that he had already promised revenge and now as part of that, ‘very serious retaliation’ is being taken against the terrorists.

Strong attack on ISIS targets
According to Trump, the US Army has targeted strong positions of ISIS in Syria. He said that Syria is an area which has been full of bloodshed, but if ISIS is eliminated then its future can be bright.

‘If America is attacked, it will hurt more than before’
In his strict tone, Trump said, ‘Any terrorist who dares to attack or threaten America will get a stronger response than ever before.’ He warned in clear words that any kind of attack on America will not be tolerated.

Syrian government support
Trump claimed that the Syrian government is also in support of this action. He said the Syrian leadership is working to return stability and ‘greatness’ to the country and is cooperating in operations against ISIS.

In which areas the attacks took place?
According to Syrian state TV, the American strikes were carried out in rural areas of Deir ez-Zor and Raqqa provinces. Apart from this, Jabal al-Amour area near Palmyra was also targeted. According to reports, ISIS weapons depots and command centers were destroyed in these attacks.

Identification of killed American soldiers
The US Army said that the two National Guard soldiers killed include 25-year-old Sergeant Edgar Brian Torres-Tovar (Des Moines) and 29-year-old Sergeant William Nathaniel Howard (Marshalltown). Apart from this, American citizen Ayad Mansoor Sakat, resident of Macomb, Michigan, who was working as an interpreter, also died.

Other people also injured in the attack
This attack took place near the historical city of Palmyra. Three other American soldiers and several Syrian security personnel were injured in this. The attacker was killed on the spot.

Why was ISIS warned?
After the death of American soldiers, the Trump administration wants to send a message that America will respond strongly to any attack on its citizens and soldiers. For this reason, along with the airstrike, Trump publicly warned ISIS – ‘If America is threatened or attacked, the response will be even more dangerous.’
