Bangladesh Premier League 2026 was to start from today (January 15). The referees had come for the toss, but the captains of both the teams (Rajshahi and Sylhet Titans) did not come to the ground. All the players boycotted this league and gave a strict warning to the Bangladesh Cricket Board that if BCB Director Nazmul Islam is not removed from his post, then no player will play. Now a video is going viral, which is from outside Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka. In the video, angry fans are doing vandalism, who were angry with the cancellation of the BPL match.

The first match of Bangladesh Premier League was to be held between Rajshahi and Sylhet Titans at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, which was cancelled. Angry fans tore the posters outside the stadium. In the viral video, it is seen that angry people have sticks in their hands, with which they are hitting things. Along with the video, it is being claimed on social media that people are angry with the cancellation of BPL matches and removal of BCB director from his post.
