West Bengal Weather: December is almost coming to an end, but there is no sign of severe cold in Kolkata, the capital of West Bengal. The feeling of winter is largely missing in Kolkata. Today the minimum temperature in Kolkata is 16.2 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature of Kolkata is 1 degree more than normal. The minimum temperature of Kolkata will remain around 16 degrees for the next few days. The Meteorological Department has said that due to western disturbance the feeling of winter is decreasing.
No feeling of severe cold in South Bengal
20th December has passed. There are only four days left for Christmas. Kolkata and suburbs are being decorated for the festival. Apart from this, due to Saturday and Sunday i.e. weekend holiday, there is crowd everywhere from Zoo to Victoria Memorial, Museum, Science City. Many people have gone out to visit the city with children. But there is no feeling of cold like that. There is still no severe cold in South Bengal.
How will the temperature be in the next five days?
Although there is a feeling of cold. There is also an effect of fog in the morning in most of the districts including Kolkata. There was fog in Kolkata since morning on Saturday also. Visibility is low. Cold wind is also blowing. But as the day progresses, there is no need for warm clothes. Rather the temperature is increasing. Night temperatures are above normal in many districts including Kolkata. Alipore Meteorological Department has said that there will not be much change in the temperature of the state in the next five days.

Will you not feel the cold? Meteorologists estimate that the temperature is likely to fall from next week. Day and night temperatures will be low. Alipur Meteorological Department has said that after five days the minimum temperature may fall by 2 degrees.
