After returning to Pakistan, he was seen claiming that he could not return with the team due to some personal work. But the officials do not agree with him and confirmed that the matter has reached the Pakistan Sports Board.
An official of the Pakistan Sports Board has said that the board has asked the Pakistan Hockey Association to form an investigation committee in this matter, because this incident has tarnished the image of Pakistan’s sports world.
