Bihar Health Minister Mangal Pandey has given a statement regarding the program organized by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in West Bengal on Saturday (December 20, 2025). He said that due to bad weather, the Prime Minister’s helicopter could not land and he had to return, but PM Modi’s love for West Bengal and determination for development was visible to everyone today.
He said, “Today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi gifted projects worth Rs 3,200 crore to the people of West Bengal. The Prime Minister addressed lakhs of people gathered at the venue through audio. Along with this, PM Modi appealed to the people of West Bengal to have a double engine government in Bengal too and just as the people of Bihar gave a huge majority to the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) against Jungle Raj, in the same way, give a huge majority to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for the development of West Bengal.”

He said, “The way the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) developed Tripura, in the same way when the government is formed under the leadership of PM Modi with the blessings of the people of West Bengal, the state will definitely develop.”
PM’s helicopter could not land at the helipad in Taherpur
Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Nadia district of West Bengal was affected due to dense fog on Saturday (December 19, 2025). In fact, due to dense fog in Nadia district, visibility was very low in the afternoon, hence his helicopter could not land at the helipad in Taherpur, West Bengal and after hovering in the air for some time, his plane returned back to Kolkata Airport.
Supporters gathered in large numbers in Taherpur
Prime Minister Narendra Modi was to inaugurate several national highway projects of the state in Taherpur, about 100 km from Kolkata. After this, he was going to address the Parivartan Sankalp Sabha organized by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
