Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat said in a program organized in Mumbai on Sunday (January 18) that as long as religion continues to guide India, the country will remain a world leader. He stressed that the spiritual knowledge that India has is not available anywhere else in the world because of the lack of spirituality in other places.
What did Bhagwat say by giving the example of PM Modi?
Giving the example of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Mohan Bhagwat said that whether it is Narendra Bhai, me, you or anyone else, there is only one power that drives all of us. If the car is driven with that power, no accident will ever happen. That driver is religion itself. There is no one behind me. He said that Narendra Modi is your strength. When the universe was created then only religion was created and as long as religion runs India, India will remain the world leader.
‘Religion is deeply ingrained in the minds of the people of India’
He said that the dharma of water is to flow, the dharma of fire is to burn. Similarly, there are duties of a son, duties of a ruler and rules of conduct. Our ancestors understood these laws through deep spiritual research and efforts. He also expressed the opinion that a state or system may be secular, but no human being or creation can exist without religion. He said that religion is deeply ingrained in the minds of common people of India. A person living in a hut may not be able to give speeches, but religion flows in his veins.
What was said about Afzal Khan
The RSS chief said that we are the people who keep watch. We protect the religious group. Afzal Khan had come to meet Shivaji Maharaj. He tortured the people but the Maharaja was calm. Fate judges good deeds. He further said that religion never loses. I am doing the work of the Sangh, I am working for the will of God. Let us be united for religion, when we are united then our country will become a world leader.
