Ayodhya Airport Authority (AAI) officials said that two scheduled commercial flights were canceled at Maharishi Valmiki International Airport on Sunday (December 21). The canceled flights include Air India Express flight IX1284/IX1274 operating on the Delhi-Ayodhya-Delhi route and SpiceJet flight SG615/SG614 operating on the Mumbai-Ayodhya-Ahmedabad route.
According to ANI, due to persistent dense fog in the area, visibility has reduced significantly and low visibility operating procedures had to be initiated at the airport, due to which flights have been cancelled. In view of the effect of fog in North India, similar advisories have been issued in the last few days.

Meanwhile, the Aviation Authority of India (AAI) issued an advisory on Sunday warning that foggy conditions are affecting visibility in parts of northern India and there may be delays or changes in flight operations at select airports. Passengers have been advised to check flight updates from their respective airlines through official channels and allow extra time to reach airports and complete necessary formalities.

AAI shared a post on social media saying that due to foggy conditions in some parts of northern India, visibility is being affected and flight operations may be delayed at select airports.
