Film producer Dinesh Vijan told PTI, ‘The last 3 years have been very wonderful for us. Who would have imagined the blast that Stree 2 did at the box office? When I made the first part of Stree, no one was funding that film. So I had to finance it myself. Someone had said that the title of the film is not right, it will work there only.

Let us tell you that Stree was made with a budget of Rs 25 crores. The film had a worldwide collection of Rs 180 crores. After this the second part of the film was also released. Stree 2 had earned Rs 875 crore worldwide. The film had collected Rs 601 crore at the domestic box office. Apart from this, Maddock’s film Chhaava was also a blockbuster hit. The film had earned Rs 800 crore worldwide.
Regarding the success of the film, he said, ‘Now we have become a little daring. But now we are working on a slightly larger scale. I think now is the right time because now we want more theater experience. Technically twenty one is a world class film.
Ikkis has been produced by Dinesh Vijan. The film has been directed by Sriram Raghavan. Agastya Nanda is in the lead role in this film. Simar Bhatia is in the female lead. Jaideep Ahlawat, Sikandar Kher and Dharmendra are in important roles in the film. The film was earlier going to be released on 25th December. But now the release date of the film has been postponed. The film will now be released on January 1, 2026.
