Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat has given a big statement on Sunday (December 21, 2025) on the question of the Sangh being anti-Muslim. He said that RSS is not anti-Muslim. Those who want to see can come and see. The door of RSS has always been open.
In fact, during his four-day stay in West Bengal, Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat addressed the third session of the Kolkata Lecture Series – 100 Years of Sangh Yatra – New Horizon Program at the Science City Auditorium in Kolkata. During this he said that there is a perception that the Sangh is anti-Muslim, whereas no door is closed in the Sangh. Come and see RSS sometime. If you think that we are anti-Muslim, then make such an assumption.
There is no use in explaining to someone who does not want to understand – Mohan Bhagwat
He further said, ‘If you think Sangh is anti-Muslim, then change your perception. I say that there is no need to explain now, because there is a lot in front of you to understand and there is no use in explaining what is not to be understood. If you want to know, then come and see, after that, form whatever opinion you have.
Muslims are different only in their method of worship – Mohan Bhagwat
RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat said, ‘I challenge you to come and see the RSS. Many people have come to see us and after seeing us they have accepted and said that you people are not anti-Muslim. You people are staunch nationalists and are in favor of protection of Hindus, but are not against Muslims. He said that Muslims should understand that they are different in terms of worship, but in terms of culture, nation and society, they are part of one big unit. Just by understanding this everything will be fine. Apart from this there is no big problem.
Construction of Babri Masjid is a political conspiracy- Mohan Bhagwat
He said, ‘A fight started and finally the matter went to court. After deliberating for a long time, the court gave its decision and Ram temple was built there. The temple-mosque dispute has ended. He said, ‘Now that fight is being started again by building Babri Masjid. This is a political conspiracy. This is happening just for votes. This is neither for the welfare of Muslims nor for the welfare of Hindus. The feud is ending and good goodwill will be created, but in this way again an attempt is being made to widen the gap. It should not happen.’
