Rohit Sharma recently said during an event, “Everyone was very disappointed, we were not able to believe what happened. It was a very difficult period for me personally, because I had given my whole life for that World Cup. Not just 2-3 months before the World Cup but since getting the captaincy in 2022.”
Rohit Sharma told that his dream was only to win the World Cup, be it the T20 World Cup or the 2023 ODI World Cup. Rohit further said, “When this dream was not fulfilled, I was devastated. There was no energy left in my body. It took a few months for me to get back to my previous state.”
