West Bengal News: A strange and shocking incident has come to light in Bhatar police station area of West Bengal. Theft took place in two shops in the same night, and the surprising thing is that after the theft, the gang of thieves escaped comfortably after eating Langcha and Rasgulla from the sweet shop. This incident happened in Shivda bus stand area, after which there is an atmosphere of panic and discussion in the entire area.
According to the information, thieves entered both the shops near Shivda bus stand by cutting the back wall. The first shop is of Debashish Mandal, in which electrical goods are sold. The shop owner says that the thieves stole expensive items including electric wires, fans, geysers worth lakhs of rupees. Apart from this, some cash was also taken.
Thieves also took away the taste of sweets
Debashish Mandal told that the thieves carefully cut the back wall and took away the valuables from the shop. The incident happened in the dark of night, so no one had any clue. Next to the electrical shop is Ram Ghosh’s sweet shop. After the theft, the thieves not only took away the cash but also ate the delicious Rasgulla and Langcha kept in the shop. After this came to light, people in the area are surprised as to why the thieves started eating sweets along with stealing.
Shopkeeper Ram Ghosh told that some cash was kept in the shop, which the thieves took away. Also, sweets utensils were found open, from which many sweets were missing. Theft in two shops in the same night has spread panic in the area. From shopkeepers to common people, everyone is now taking extra precautions. As soon as the police received the information, the team of Bhatar police station reached the spot and started investigation. People nearby are also being interrogated.
A few days ago, a strange theft took place in Guskara also.
This is not the first time that such strange thefts have taken place in this area. A few days ago, during a theft in a house in ward number 14 of Guskara Municipality, thieves not only took away cash and jewellery, but also took away blankets from the house.
Rana Vishwas and his wife were out of the house and the house was empty. The thieves took advantage of this opportunity and broke the locks of two cupboards and made away with gold jewelery and cash worth Rs 30-40 thousand. After this they even took blankets for the winter night. The people of the area are very worried about the continuous thefts. Police investigation is going on in both Bhatar and Guskara areas. However, till now no clue has been found about the gang of thieves. Both incidents of theft and strange actions of thieves have become a big topic of discussion among the local people.
