Andhra Pradesh Murder News: Old enmity has flared up again in Palanadu district of Andhra Pradesh. In this politically and personally sensitive area, enemies brutally murdered two brothers with knives. The incident took place at Adigoppala village in Durgi mandal of Palanadu district on Sunday midnight. Police have identified the deceased as Hanumanthu and his brother Sriramulu. According to initial information, it is also rumored that the couple was murdered due to a family feud.
Both the dead were supporters of Telugu Desam Party.
This incident has created a political stir, because both the deceased were supporters of Telugu Desam Party (TDP). After receiving the information, the police immediately reached the spot and investigated. The bodies of Hanumanthu and Sriramulu have been sent to the government hospital for postmortem. Durgi police have registered a case and intensified the investigation. It is reported that police force has been deployed in the village to prevent any untoward incident.
Serious allegations of election violence against Pinelli Bhai
The case related to former Macherla MLA Pinelli Ramakrishna Reddy is well known. YSRCP leader Pinelli is the main accused in the EVM malfunctioning case at Palavai Gate polling station in Macherla assembly constituency during the 2024 elections. Along with this, cases have also been registered in the double murder case that took place at the same time and the attack on a CI in Karampudi. The Pinelli brothers are accused in the murder case of TDP leader Javisetti Venkateshwarlu and Koteshwarlu from Gundalapadu in Veldurthi mandal.
The Pinelli brothers were earlier arrested by the police in connection with this series of violent incidents, but they were later released. The Pinelli brothers surrendered a week ago after the Supreme Court recently canceled their bail and issued orders to surrender.
