Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi said that the fight between truth and untruth is going on in the country. His party will stand with the truth and remove the ‘RSS government’ from India. Addressing the ‘Vote Chor, Gaddi Chhod’ rally at Ramlila Maidan here, Rahul alleged that the Election Commission is working in collaboration with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
Rahul hit back at Mohan Bhagwat’s statement
Quoting a statement by Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat, Rahul Gandhi said, “Bhagwat said that the world does not look at truth but at power, the one who has power is considered the one.” This ideology is of RSS. Our ideology, the ideology of India, the ideology of Hinduism and the ideology of all the religions of the world say that truth is most important. Bhagwat says that truth has no meaning, power is necessary.
He said, “There is a fight between truth and untruth. We will stand with the truth and remove Narendra Modi, Amit Shah and the RSS government from India.
While addressing an event organized by Virat Hindu Sammelan Samiti in Andaman on Saturday, Bhagwat had said that in the present times, more power than mere truth has contributed in shaping global recognition.
He had said, ‘The world does not look at truth but at power, it believes in the one who has power…even if not from the heart, but it definitely believes.’
Election Commission also targeted
Referring to the Election Commission of 2023, Rahul Gandhi said in a warning tone, “The Congress party is already telling you (Election Commissioner), you are the Election Commissioner of India, not the Election Commissioner of Narendra Modi. We will change the law retroactively and take action against you.
He claimed that Amit Shah’s hands were trembling during the discussion on electoral reforms in Parliament. Rahul Gandhi said, “Maybe all this will take time, but truth will prevail in India.”
He said, “We will defeat Narendra Modi and Amit Shah with truth and non-violence.”
