The statement of Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind President Arshad Madani has come to light regarding the decision to ban non-Hindus from entering religious places in Uttarakhand. He has said that he feels that the country is his and he can take the people in any direction but times have changed.
He said that it is a good thing that people live with love and brotherhood and this is what Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind teaches. This is not just in Kedarnath. Entire colonies are being demolished in Assam and lakhs of Muslims are being declared Bangladeshis.

The whole matter is about banning Hindu religious places located in Uttarakhand. After this decision, entry of non-Hindus will now be prohibited in Badrinath, Kedarnath and Gangotri. However, Yamunotri Committee, one of the Char Dhams, has not taken any decision on this. The President of Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind has given a statement on this.
Temple committee made mutual consent
Badrinath Kedarnath Temple Committee has reached a mutual consensus on this. A decision on this will be taken in the board meeting. At the same time, Gangotri Temple Committee has taken a decision on this.
What did temple committee chairman Hemant Dwivedi tell?
Badrinath and Kedarnath Temple Committee Chairman Hemant Dwivedi told PTI news agency that the matter of barring entry of non-Hindus in the temple area has been agreed upon with all the stakeholders including saints, pilgrim priests and local residents. He has said that this proposal will be formally approved in the temple committee board meeting. After which this rule will be implemented in Badrinath and Kedarnath Dhams.
Right to manage religious affairs legally: Temple committee chairman
Citing the law, he said that Article 26 of the Constitution gives every community the right to manage its religious affairs. Badrinath and Kedarnath Dham are not tourist places but centers of faith. It has also been said that those who believe in Sanatan Dharma are welcome.
