The actor we are talking about is none other than Nakuul Mehta. Who has given hit shows like Ishqbaaz and Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara.
In a recent interview given to News 18, Nakul has given a very strange reason behind his rejection. He said that the director had rejected him because he was good looking.
Rejected because of good looks
Nakul revealed that he was going to be a part of a big Hindi film but that did not happen. Explaining the reason, he said – The strangest thing happened, he was a very popular producer and director. I had to do the sequel of a very beautiful film with him. Everything was decided. We got the photos clicked and finalized the dates. I was in an acting workshop when he called me and said- ‘I was thinking about it. I think you are too good-looking for this role.‘
Nakul further said- ‘I said okay. I had to play the role of a prince of Rajasthan. But I kept wondering what did my looks have to do with the character I had to play? Then I realized that he had no better excuse to give. I didn’t understand what to make of this. I was wondering, what is he saying? Nakul told that that film was never made and the director had recently gone to jail.
