A tragic accident in Kukatpally area of Hyderabad has shocked the entire city. Here a little girl lost her life because of China Manja (synthetic manja). This incident happened when the girl was traveling on a bike with her father and on the way suddenly the deadly manja got stuck around her neck. Despite efforts to take him to the hospital, doctors declared him dead.
This is not the first time that a Chinese manjha has taken someone’s life in Hyderabad. Even during festive season or on ordinary days, this synthetic or nylon scarf is proving to be fatal. Hyderabad police and administration have announced a complete ban on it several times, yet its illegal sale and use continues in the markets. This manjha is much stronger and sharper than the ordinary cotton manjha, which poses a serious threat to any person or animal passing by.
