Durov gave a strong reaction
Amid the ongoing debate on WhatsApp, Telegram CEO and founder Pavel Durov has given a strong reaction. He said that those who consider WhatsApp to be secure in 2026 are braindead. Durov claimed in his post that Telegram has analyzed WhatsApp’s encryption and found several attack vectors in it. This system was never as strong as it was told to the users.
