Samsung Galaxy Wide Fold: This year there is going to be a lot of activity in the foldable phone segment. Apple will launch its first foldable iPhone in September, to compete with which Samsung has geared up. According to reports, Samsung will launch a new phone named Galaxy Wide Fold in the market to compete with the iPhone Fold. Samsung will initially bring 10 lakh units of it in the market and has also given this information to its suppliers. Some possible features of this Samsung phone have also been revealed.
Specifications of Samsung Galaxy Wide Fold
This Samsung phone will stand out in the foldable lineup due to its display and form factor. It will have a 7.6-inch foldable OLED display, which will come with 4:3 aspect ratio. When it is unfolded, it will give the user a wide and landscape focused experience, which is still missing from other foldable phones of the company. It is being told that with this phone, Samsung wants to target those users who prefer tablet-like screens for multitasking, productivity and streaming etc. The cover display of this phone that folds in book style can be 5.4 inches.
When can it be launched?
Till now, nothing has been officially said by Samsung about this phone, but if leaks are to be believed then it can be launched along with Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy Z Flip 8 phones in Samsung’s Galaxy Z Unpacked event.
All eyes are on iPhone Fold
Apple’s first foldable iPhone has been awaited for a long time. The company can provide 7.8 inch inner and 5.5 inch outer display in it. A triple camera set can be provided in its rear with wide, ultra wide and telephoto lenses, while two lenses will be available in the front. One of these will be on the cover and the other on the main display. Customers in India may have to pay around Rs 2.25 lakh for this phone.
