Now a report has told that what benefits will the users get by taking paid subscription of WhatsApp. It is worth noting that Meta has been spending money on AI like water for some time and now new paid plans are being introduced to recover that cost.
WhatsApp’s paid plan may come soon
The upcoming paid subscription service has been spotted on the beta version of WhatsApp for Android phones. This shows that Meta is working on it and it can be rolled out soon. According to reports, users will first have to join a waitlist. After this, as soon as the paid plans are rolled out, they will start getting extra functionality.
What features will be there in the paid plan?
In its premium plan, WhatsApp can give permission to pin premium stickers, app themes and more than three chats. For a more personalized messaging experience, users will be able to set dedicated chat ringtones. Also, you can get the option to customize the icon of WhatsApp app. Users will be able to choose the icon of their choice from the many options provided by WhatsApp. Apart from these, many extra AI features can also be given to the users.
Will everyone have to pay money?
There is no need for everyone to pay money to use WhatsApp. Meta has made it clear that the core experience of the app will remain free. That means you will be able to send messages and calls for free like now, but if you want to use premium features then you will have to pay. No information has been received yet as to what could be the price of WhatsApp’s plan.
