The Supreme Court, while giving a major verdict in the much talked about Porsche car accident case of Pune, has granted regular bail to the accused Aditya Avinash Sood. Aditya Sood was one of the main accused out of total 10 accused in this case. Along with them, the court has also ordered the release of Ashish Mittal and Amar Gaikwad on bail.
This case is of the night of 19 May 2024, when a Porsche car, allegedly driven by a minor in an inebriated state, crushed two IT professionals in Kalyani Nagar area of ​​Pune, killing them on the spot.
Aditya Avinash Sood, 52, and Ashish Satish Mittal, 37, were arrested on August 19 last year. He was accused of exchanging the blood samples of two other minors present in the car with the main accused minor at the time of the accident so as to influence the investigation.
Senior advocate Prashant Patil and advocate Abid Mulani appeared in the court on behalf of Aditya Sood. Confirming the bail, Advocate Prashant Patil said that while giving relief, the court has also imposed some conditions. He said that his client will fully cooperate with the investigating agency and the evidence will not be tampered with in any way.
