Talking about non-foldable phones, Apple and Samsung are making phones with large displays. Apple’s iPhone 17 Pro Max has a 6.86-inch display, while Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S26 Ultra, launched this month, is expected to have a 6.89-inch display. After the arrival of new technology, mobiles with even bigger screens will be seen from companies.
What will be the benefit of increasing screen size?
A larger display simply means that the viewing experience will be better. This means that users are going to enjoy watching web series, reels and movies more. Another advantage of this will be regarding battery capacity. As the display size increases, companies will be able to increase the size of the battery, which will enable users to get longer battery life. If we look at the recent times, after the introduction of silicon-carbon batteries, battery packs of up to 10,000mAh have started coming in smartphones. Now if companies get a chance to make the battery bigger, then the battery capacity of the smartphone will go up further.
