Most legal action on WhatsApp occurs in cases of spreading false news. If you spread any rumour, fake news or inflammatory information without verification, then it can be considered in the category of cyber crime. In many cases, people have been questioned even for simply sharing forwarded messages because the law assumes that you are also a part of the spread of that information.
