Government’s emphasis on expanding old business: Sitharaman

Nirmala Sitharaman said that the government is committed to promoting fisheries and animal husbandry. This will benefit the farmers and those working for it. He said that the government is emphasizing on promoting not only MSMEs but also old businesses.

The 200 old clusters are known for decades as places that have supported MSMEs and their production and exports. These could be centers near Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Kanpur or Bihar. This can happen anywhere in Bengal. We have said of our own free will that it can be funded, upgraded and given modern instruments.
