Stocks to Watch: There was not much movement in the Indian stock market on Wednesday. After the recent rally, the market slowed down a bit and closed almost flat. Experts said that this stagnation in the index was already anticipated. Slight consolidation may be seen in the coming few sessions, but the overall market trend is still expected to remain positive. Today in the stock market, stocks like HUL, HAL, Lenskart, BHEL, Ather Energy and Bharti Airtel will be in focus due to news and third quarter results.

Results will come from these shares

HUL, ONGC, HAL, Coal India, Hindalco and IRCTC will release their third quarter results today. In such a situation, strong movement can be seen in these shares throughout the day. Investors will especially keep an eye on margins, profits and future outlook, as these figures will decide the future direction.

Consumer electronics company LG India has presented disappointing results in the December quarter. The company’s consolidated net profit fell 61 percent year-on-year to Rs 89.7 crore. This figure was much higher in the same period a year ago. Revenue from operations also declined by 6 percent to Rs 4,114 crore. Even if compared with the previous quarter, there has been a sharp decline in revenue, as it was Rs 6,174 crore in Q2FY26. Total income stood at Rs 4,190 crore, which was Rs 4,474 crore last year. After these figures, there may be pressure in the shares.

Government company Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited i.e. BHEL has informed the exchange that it will use the oversubscription option. The offer for sale has received an overwhelming response from non-retail investors. This issue was subscribed 2.35 times. The base offer was for 10.44 crore shares, while against this, bids were received for more than 22 crore shares. Due to strong demand, a positive trend can be seen in the stock.

Lenskart Solutions has performed brilliantly in the December quarter. The company’s consolidated net profit increased by 6,982 per cent year-on-year to Rs 131 crore, compared to just Rs 2 crore in the same period last year. This profit has come to the share of the owners of the holding company. After such a big jump, this stock may remain on the radar of investors.

Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs bought stakes in smallcap multibagger Ather Energy through block deals on Wednesday. National Investment and Infrastructure Fund i.e. NIIF was the seller in this deal. NIIF sold about 33.78 lakh shares, the total value of which was about Rs 233 crore. There may be movement in the stock due to this news.

FMCG sector company Patanjali Foods registered a consolidated net profit of Rs 594 crore in the December quarter, a jump of 60 per cent. The profit in the same period last year was Rs 371 crore. Revenue from operations increased by 17 per cent to Rs 10,484 crore, compared to Rs 8,997 crore a year ago. Due to strong growth, there may be a positive trend in the stock.

Bharti Airtel has launched an AI-powered solution called “Fraud Alert”. Its purpose is to provide real-time protection to customers from OTP related bank fraud. Nowadays, in the name of delivery or other services, fraudsters steal money from bank accounts by obtaining OTP. This new feature of Airtel is being considered an important step towards protecting the savings of customers.

Aditya Birla Group on Wednesday announced that it is bringing Danish cafe chain ‘Joe & Juice’ to India.

UAE-based Trueledger Technologies FZE has expressed interest in acquiring a strategic stake of up to 20 per cent in Silverline Technologies. The company gave this information in its regulatory filing on Wednesday.

Investors including Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, Societe Generale and Abu Dhabi Investment Authority on Wednesday bought 1.92 per cent stake in Ather Energy from the National Investment and Infrastructure Fund (NIIF) for about Rs 521 crore through an open market transaction.

Andhra Pradesh Government has officially included AU Small Finance Bank Ltd in the list of notified banks. Now this bank will be able to handle the work of maintaining accounts and fund management of various departments and offices of the state government, PTI reported.

TIAA CREF Emerging Markets Equity Index Fund of TIAA-CREF Funds, managed by Teachers Advisors (a subsidiary of Nuveen), sold 87.3 lakh shares equivalent to 1.78 per cent stake in Sterlite Technologies at Rs 144.81 per share. The total value of this deal was Rs 126.4 crore.

The Reserve Bank of India has approved ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company and other units of the ICICI Bank group to buy up to 9.95 percent stake in Federal Bank.

Stock market situation on Wednesday, February 11

On Tuesday, February 11, the major indices of the Indian stock market, Sensex and Nifty, traded in a limited range and closed almost flat. NSE Nifty crossed the 26,000 level intraday and reached 26,009.40. However, in the end it closed at 25,953.85 with a gain of just 18.70 points or 0.072 percent.
