Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has congratulated Tariq Rehman after the big victory of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) in the parliamentary elections of Bangladesh. According to the trends of election results, BNP seems to be getting majority, after which they are considered to be in a position to form the next government.

While issuing a statement on X, he said that he heartily congratulates BNP on its big victory in the parliamentary elections of Bangladesh. Talking about working with new leadership
The Prime Minister of Pakistan said that he is ready to work together with the new government to be formed in Dhaka. He said that the historical and fraternal relations between the two countries will be further strengthened and will work together on the common goals of peace, stability and development.
BNP claims
Bangladesh Nationalist Party said that it is getting majority and is going to form the next government. The party’s media team wrote on Twitter that BNP is preparing to form the government by winning majority of seats.

According to local media reports, counting of 249 seats out of 299 has been completed. According to reports, BNP and its allies have won 181 seats. Whereas Jamaat-e-Islami and its allies have got 61 seats. Counting is going on for the remaining seats.
