The High Powered Committee (HPC) of the Home Ministry of the Government of India held a meeting with representatives of Apex Body Leh (ABL) and Kargil Democratic Alliance (KDA) on Wednesday (February 4, 2026) last week on the demand for development and statehood of the Union Territory of Ladakh.
