Delhi AI Summit Security: Tight security arrangements in Delhi for AI Impact Summit! More than 10,000 policemen deployed, 183 CCTV cameras set up

Tight security arrangements have been made for the AI ​​Impact Summit going to be held in Delhi. More than 10,000 policemen will be deployed in the capital. 800 policemen have been deployed from almost every district. Apart from this, Special Unit, Reserve Force and Traffic Police will also be on duty. There will be tight security especially in the venue and Lutyens Delhi area. This security arrangement is being made in collaboration with many agencies, because heads of many countries and VVIPs will participate in this summit.

Around 4,200 traffic policemen will be deployed. The entire Delhi has been divided into 10 zones, which will be monitored by DCP rank officers. Additional DCPs from other units have also been deployed for traffic management. Keeping in mind the VVIP movement, the route rehearsal of the convoys has been done. Temporary traffic diversions and restrictions will remain in place in areas around Bharat Mandapam, Sushma Swaraj Bhawan and Hyderabad House.

183 CCTV cameras of Delhi Police

The entire area will be monitored from the Integrated Command and Control Centre. There will be 24-hour monitoring through 183 CCTV cameras of Delhi Police, as well as cameras of NDMC and PWD. Passes with QR code have been issued for entry. So that the people coming can be identified quickly and safely. Security has also been increased in areas like Dwarka. Foot patrolling and checking of vehicles has been intensified there.

Special arrangement by Delhi Traffic Police

Delhi Traffic Police has made special arrangements to ensure minimum inconvenience to the common people. In view of the CBSE board examinations starting from 17th February, arrangements for special passes and help have been made for the students. Traffic advisory will also be issued. Special anti-drone teams have been deployed to prevent any threat from drones during the summit. Radar systems and radio frequency jammers have been installed to monitor the airspace around Bharat Mandapam and Lutyens Delhi. There will be a complete ban on drones without permission. Any suspicious drone will be immediately deactivated. 24-hour surveillance will be maintained through ICCC in collaboration with CCTV network.

Many central agencies also involved in security

Many central agencies are also involved in the security of this program. Central armed police forces like CRPF, BSF and Indo-Tibetan Border Police will handle the responsibility of external security and reserve force. The National Security Guard will be deployed to deal with high-risk situations and potential terrorist threats. The Special Protection Group will provide close security to the Prime Minister and other big VVIPs. The Intelligence Bureau and the Research and Analysis Wing are engaged in gathering intelligence and assessing the threat. The National Disaster Response Force will also be ready for emergencies.
