India’s technological capability is no longer limited to the country’s borders. Indian companies registered their strong presence on the global stage with a strong performance at the AI Expo Egypt 2026 held in Egypt. India’s participation in this big tech event held on 11–12 February was the center of special attraction. India was represented in this expo by Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council (ESC India). Under the leadership of ESC India, 14 Indian companies together established ‘India Pavilion’. This pavilion was inaugurated by India’s Ambassador to Egypt Suresh K. Reddy.
Indian AI startups and tech companies presented their cutting-edge products and innovative solutions in the India Pavilion. India’s expertise in areas like healthtech, fintech, smart automation and data analytics was appreciated by international companies and investors.

B2B Connections and Potential Business Deals
Indian companies received large-scale B2B (business-to-business) connections during AI Expo Egypt 2026. Possible partnerships and business agreements with many foreign companies were discussed. This is an indication that India is no longer just a consumer of technology but is also becoming an emerging global center for exporting technology.
Big win for Indian startup
In this event, Indian startup CreateBytes won the ‘Supernova Challenge’ and received a grant of 10,000 dollars i.e. approximately Rs 8 lakh. This achievement is proof that Indian startups have the potential to compete globally and become leaders in innovation.
Global diplomacy getting stronger through technology
India’s active participation in an important country like Egypt shows that India is also strengthening its global diplomacy through AI and digital technology. Government, industry and startups together are strongly presenting India’s digital identity to the world.
