‘India-France will make a helicopter that can fly to the height of Everest’, PM Modi announced in PC with Macron

In a joint press conference with French President Emmanuel Macron, PM Modi said that France is one of India’s oldest strategic partners. He said, ‘Today we are establishing our relations as a spatial, global, strategic partnership. This is a partnership of global stability and progress. Together with President Macron, we have given unprecedented depth and energy to this strategic partnership.

PM Modi mentioned H-125 helicopter

Talking about the H-125 helicopter, PM Modi said, ‘We are proud that India and France together will make in India the world’s first helicopter to fly to the height of Mount Everest. We will export it to the whole world. There is no boundary between India and France. Just a few days ago, we signed a free trade agreement with the EU, this free trade agreement will also bring unprecedented momentum to the relations between India and France.

PM Modi said, ‘Innovation does not happen through isolation, but through collaboration. We will collect our industry and innovation in every field. We will facilitate the exchange of our students and research. Today the world is going through a period of uncertainty, we will continue to promote prosperity through International Solar Alliance, IMEC.

Committed to root out terrorism: PM Modi

In the joint press conference, PM Modi pointed towards terrorism and the sound of war prevailing in different regions of the world. He said, ‘Whether Ukraine, West Asia or the Indo Pacific, we will continue to support all efforts for peace in every region. It is our common commitment to eradicate terrorism in all its forms and manifestations. We are going to open Swami Vivekananda Culture in France soon. Today together we are starting a new chapter.

PM Modi said, ‘We will launch an Indo-French Center for AI in Health, an Indo-French Center for Digital Science and Technology and a National Center of Excellence for Skilling in Aeronautics. These are platforms for future-building. The Prime Minister said, ‘Today the world is passing through a period of uncertainty. In such a situation, India-France partnership is a force for global stability.
