Samsung’s Galaxy S26 series is being launched next week. Privacy display is going to be available in its flagship device Galaxy S26 Ultra. Now more information related to this is coming out. According to media reports, privacy display will be automatically enabled in crowded places, so that no one standing around you will be able to see what you are doing on your phone. This feature will provide an extra layer of privacy while logging into banking apps and social media accounts.
Auto privacy will make work easier
According to reports, the Galaxy S26 Ultra will have an auto privacy setting. After turning it on, whenever you use banking or other sensitive apps, it will enable the privacy display. Apart from this, whenever you are standing in crowded places, this feature will be enabled. It is believed that the phone will identify crowded places by listening to the sound from the front camera or microphone. In this, the user will also get the option of manual setting as per his need. For maximum privacy, a toggle will also be provided in the settings, which will dim the screen completely.
How will privacy display work?
Samsung had shown the privacy display technology for the first time at MWC a few years ago and now it will be given in Galaxy S26 Ultra. Samsung will use Flex Magic Pixel OLED panel for this feature. In this, with the help of AI, the direction of light will be controlled at the pixel level, due to which the viewing angle will become narrow. With this, only the user will be able to see the content of the phone. This feature will also maintain the display quality.
Apple will also use this technology
After Samsung, Apple will also use this technology. While Samsung is bringing this technology in its flagship smartphones, Apple will use it in MacBooks. It is expected that in 2029, Apple will launch the first MacBook Pro model with privacy display.
