Vaishnavi McDonald, considered one of the popular TV actresses, recently exposed the dark secrets of the industry during an interview. Of course, Vaishnavi got popularity by playing the role of Geeta Vishwas in Shaktimaan. But, he started his career with films.
He was first seen in the film Veerana. Apart from this, she has also worked in films like Laadla and Barsaat Ki Raat. But, he had to face many bad experiences in the film industry. The actress has told in an interview that she had refused to compromise with the actor, due to which she was thrown out of the film.
Posters and banners were also printed
In an interview given to Siddharth Kanan, Vaishnavi McDonald told that for this reason she distanced herself from films and turned to TV. At that time, when he got the offer of Shaktimaan, he agreed. Vaishnavi told how the posters and banners of the film had been printed and yet she was removed from the film.
The actress told, ‘Me and my mom were made to sit in the office and were told that listen, the posters and banners have arrived. I was one of the lead roles in this film. But, I was thrown out of the film. The director and the hero of the film sat together and decided that she could not be a part of the film, only because I had not compromised. Vaishnavi said that the director was not interested in compromise, but the hero was interested. He was a very big name at that time.
Vaishnavi further said, ‘He was calling me to come in the evening. Only men are sitting and drinking so please come. Mom was always with me. That too was a nuisance. My mom never left me alone. So mother was always with me. Mom used to pick me up and drop me. In fact, that production house made my passport and told my mother that it was not possible for me. I then had to go to Switzerland for the shoot. Vaishnavi told that when she refused the hero to compromise, he felt bad and got her out of the film.
