Rajasthan Royals Home Ground IPL 2026: Rajasthan Royals have taken a big decision regarding the 2026 season of the Indian Premier League. A media report has revealed that in IPL 2026, Rajasthan Royals has agreed to hold its 4 home matches in Jaipur, while the remaining 3 home matches will be held in Guwahati. There have been differences between the RR franchise and Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) regarding the home ground.
Quoting a report published in Times of India, some sources said that Rajasthan Royals team chairperson, Ranjit Barthakur met Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma. It is being told that in this meeting it was agreed that Rajasthan Royals team will hold some of its home matches in Jaipur.
In the last few years, the Rajasthan Royals team has played its 2 home matches in Guwahati and the remaining 5 matches in Jaipur. According to the new agreement, RR team will play one less match at Sawai Man Singh Stadium (Jaipur) compared to the last season. Now the number of matches of Rajasthan in Baraspara Stadium in Guwahati will increase from 2 to 3.
Let us remind you that just a few days ago, Rajasthan Royals have appointed Riyan Parag as the new captain. The old captain of the team, Sanju Samson has gone to Chennai Super Kings due to a trade deal. Under this trade deal, Ravindra Jadeja and Sam Curran came to the Rajasthan team.
