Actually this matter is about Pakistan vs Namibia match. Salman Agha was out after scoring 38 runs, after which news came out that coach Mike Hesson and Salman Agha had an argument. Pakistani coach has broken his silence on this entire controversy.

The Super-8 stage of the 2026 T20 World Cup is starting from 21st February. Pakistan and New Zealand will compete in the first match of Super-8. This match will be played at R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo and will start at 7 pm Indian time.

The coach told the truth

In the press conference before playing the first match of Super-8, Mike Hesson told that Salman Agha was disappointed after being out and reacted in frustration. The coach said that the video that surfaced was misrepresented and said that his conversation with Salman was direct and clear. Salman’s reaction has nothing to do with those things.

Mike Hesson said, “I have seen the video that was sent to me and everyone has misinterpreted it. Let me tell you what actually happened. I was going to ask and talk to Salman about asking Nawaz to pack his pads since he is a left-handed batsman. Salman had just come out and was very disappointed, so he threw the bottle on the ground and hit it. It had nothing to do with what we were talking about.”

Salman Agha had scored 38 runs in 23 balls in that match. Whereas Pakistan team had won that match by a huge margin of 102 runs.
