US President Donald Trump has again changed the global tariff. Trump posted on social media that America is now increasing the 10 percent tariff imposed on countries around the world to 15 percent. Trump said that many countries have looted America for decades and this decision has been taken in response to that. Trump has taken this step after the decision of the US Supreme Court which ruled against the tariffs imposed under the Economic Emergency Act.
The US President said that his government took this step within the ambit of law and it has been used before also. According to Trump, tariff policy is very important to strengthen America’s economy and protect domestic industries. By mentioning Make America Great Again in his post, he indicated that America is going to announce legal tariffs in the coming time.
Donald Trump posted on Truth Social and said, ‘As President of the United States, I am increasing the global tariff of 10 percent to 15 percent with immediate effect. Until I came, many countries were looting America for decades without any penalty. “Over the next few months, the Trump Administration will set new and legal tariffs that will continue our successful process of Making America Great Again.”
