Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam means the world is one family: Dattatreya Hosabale

Describing the spirit of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam as the core of Hindu life vision, he said that the world is one family and if there is a crisis in any corner of the world, the Hindu considers it as his problem. India has always given shelter to the victims, be it the Parsi community or the Tibetan community, India has accepted everyone.

Referring to Ramayana written by Maharishi Valmiki, he said that it is not just a story, but a guide to the ideal life of Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram. It is a privilege to be born in the sacred land of India where Shri Ram, Shri Krishna and Lord Shiva incarnated.

He said that Hindu philosophy sees God within every person. Namaste means- The God within me salutes the God within you. Worship of every form of nature, rivers, trees, animals and birds is an integral part of our culture. Today the world is talking about environmental protection, whereas Hindu society has been following the tradition of worshiping nature since ancient times.
