Let us tell you that according to the report of Bollywood Hungama, CBFC has asked to make 16 cuts or changes in ‘The Kerala Story 2: Goes Beyond’.
- Firstly, the kissing scene has been reduced by 50%. That means the lip-lock scene has been shortened by 7 seconds.
- The visuals of the rape scene were also reduced by 50%, i.e. 20 seconds were reduced.
- Two scenes – one in which a woman is slapped and the other in which a woman is hit on the head, have also been reduced by 2 seconds.
- The visuals of the accused’s house being demolished with a bulldozer have been asked to be changed.
- Three dialogues were changed at three different places, while one word was asked to be muted. However, there is no information about them in the cut list.
- The makers were asked to add a disclaimer that the film is based on true events.
- The static text, which is probably a disclaimer, was asked to be increased by 2 minutes 3 seconds, as well as the voice over.
- Makers have been asked to submit the script as per the script dialogues and submit correct documents for the true incident shown in the film.
- Finally, a consent form has been submitted to CBFC to cast a younger artiste in the film.
