Karnataka News: capital of karnataka Bengaluru A serious case of gang rape of a 19 year old student of a private college has come to light. The victim has alleged that her boyfriend and his friend drugged her, beat her and raped her. In this matter, a case has been registered at Amritahalli Police Station and investigation has been started.
According to the police, the victim is a resident of Tamil Nadu and is studying Journalism and Psychology in a reputed college in Bengaluru. She was staying in a PG hostel with a friend for the last five months. In January 2026, he was identified with the accused Dixon Sandra through social media. Gradually friendship grew between the two and later a love affair developed.
Called Villa on Valentine’s Day
In the FIR, the victim said that they used to talk and chat on the phone every day. On February 14, Valentine’s Day, she went to college in the morning and returned to the PG hostel in the afternoon. At around 8:30 pm, she went to a restaurant in Banashankari for dinner, from where the accused Sandra called her and invited her to a villa in Jakkur. She reached there with a friend at around 1:15 pm. At that time the second accused Nikhil was also present there.
The victim alleges that both the accused forcibly fed her a pink colored pill. Within a few minutes, he started having problems like dizziness, sweating and blurred vision. After this Sandra took him to a room. The victim told that after some time she became unconscious. When he regained consciousness, he found himself in a disoriented state and saw Nikhil nearby.
Left after threatening, complaint filed on 17th February
According to the victim, after this Sandra raped her and locked her in the room. The door was opened at around 12 noon. Later, accused Nikhil left her near a mall and threatened her not to tell anyone about the incident. After the incident, the victim could not immediately go to the police due to fear. On February 17, he got treated in the hospital and then told the entire incident to his brother. After this, a complaint was lodged against Sandra and Nikhil at Amritahalli Police Station.
Police have registered a case against the accused under sections 64 (rape), 70(1) (gang rape), 351(2) and 3(5) of the Indian Justice Code. Considering the seriousness of the case, the police investigation has been intensified and the search for the accused is going on.
