Congress leader Rahul Gandhi took a dig at the central government regarding the trade deal in Bhopal on Tuesday (24 February). Rahul said in Congress’ Mahachoupal that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has sold the farmers. During this time he also raised the issue of China. Rahul said that Chinese tanks had entered the Indian border, but the Modi government did not take any action. He also gave a befitting reply to the allegations of Bharatiya Janata Party.
Rahul Gandhi said, ‘You saw my speech in Parliament. There is a presidential address. The President’s speech is given there every year. After that the first speaker is the leader of the opposition. This sequence has continued every year. This year, for the first time, the Leader of Opposition was not allowed to speak in the Lok Sabha. I started the speech and was stopped.
He said, ‘I raised the issue of Naravane ji, he has written a book. He wrote that when Chinese tanks and Indian tanks were coming into India, he took orders from Rajnath Singh but he did not respond, then when he asked Ajit Doval, he also did not respond.
After the President’s address in Parliament, the first speaker is the LoP of the Lok Sabha.
